Dissemination doesn’t need to be a burden
All too often, timely products are only found on the networks where they are created. Moving reports and information across security domains is hard work and takes time. Unfortunately, this results in delayed publishing to users on other networks, which is Not Good.
Reliable human review sandboxes
Expressroom IC sandboxes support reliable human review (RHR) of products before posting onto other networks. The sandboxes act like they are on the lower-side network and give reviewers a chance to pre-flight any changes before they go live. Working in conjunction with the Workflow System, the sandboxes help ensure that prescribed security policies are followed.
Integrated dirty word checking
The sandboxes include a configurable dirty word checker to act as a first line of defense against accidental spills. The dirty word checker is a low-level plug-in that examines everything that gets written into the Expressroom content management system and will prevent the saving of any document that fails.
A briefcase full of changes (and only changes)
Once updates are ready to cross a security domain, Expressroom IC’s disconnected publish capability jumps into action and collects the items that have been added, changed, or even deleted and wraps them up into a single file that can be sneaker-netted to the other network. The file is then read in by the Expressroom Server on the low-side and the publish operation completes. It’s that simple. And just to be sure, the file is stamped with a signature that prevents it from being used anywhere other than the intended network.
Expressroom IC helps you securely disseminate your products across multiple networks.
